At The Brass Butterfly, every piece we sell is handcrafted in Vermont with a focus on simplicity, quality, and natural beauty.

Our hanging Rooter propagation vases are designed to highlight the plants and flowers they display. We believe the vase and hanger should complement the greenery naturally, allowing the plants, roots, and cuttings to remain the focal point.

One of the details that makes our designs unique is the small solid brass butterfly featured on most of our  hangers. Carefully soldered onto the metal frame by hand, the butterfly has become a signature part of the Brass Butterfly style.

We use hand-blown clear glass vases without the wooden collar often found on many traditional propagation vases. The clean glass design creates a lighter, more updated appearance while allowing the beauty of new root growth and fresh cuttings to remain fully visible.

In addition to our classic copper finish, we also create select hangers in a one-of-a-kind gold vein and powder-coated finish for a more contemporary look. These finishes pair beautifully with both modern and garden-inspired spaces.

Every piece is made by hand, which means slight variations in the glass and metalwork are part of what make each Rooter vase feel unique.
