Rooter FAQS

Q. What kind of plant grows best in my rooter?

 A. Just a few plants that root well are:

              - Spider Plant

               - Coleus

               - English Ivy

              - Impatiens

              - Philodendron

If you're not sure whether a plant will root well, just give it a try! Take a small clipping and put it in the water and see what happens. What do you have to lose?

Q. Can i use any water for the rooter?

A. Yes, but we recommend spring water. It provides important nutrients to help keep your plant healthy.

Q. Do i need to change the water in my rooter?

 A. Very rarely. It should take many months for the water to need to be changed, in the meantime, just keep topping off the water. Just don't fill past the bottom of the neck of the vase.

Q. Where do i hang my plant rooter?

A. Just about anywhere! Windows are a popular spot, and provide sunlight to your plant.

Q. How to i clean my glass rooter?

A. If you find a need to clean your glass rooter, put a small amount of powdered dishwasher detergent in the glass, add water, shake and rinse.

Q. Why does my plant rooter have black marks on it?

A. The frames of our Plant Rooters are crafted from copper coated wire which is bent and then welded at the joints to form the various designs. The black markings are from the welding process. Each piece is hand welded and produces a unique, handcrafted look.
